This is a tough solvent-based textured paste for rendering texture to plastered and properly primed masonry surfaces, or properly primed wood and metal surfaces. It is applied by mortar gun as large, medium or small cast, depending on the size of the nozzle of the mortar gun. Large cast are recommended for most large area exterior surfaces, and small cast are suggested for interior surfaces or for exterior surfaces where viewing distances may be much closer. Various textured paint designs may be accomplished, including the popular Anay Finish where the cast are flattened with a plain roller while the texture is still soft, and Micro Cast where the product is sprayed in tiny drops to make a Micro-Fine textured finish. It has excellent durability and flexibility, and chemical and water resistance. Epoprime Water-based Epoxy Primer is the recommended primer for concrete, and Sintex Putty is the recommended putty for smoothing out the surface prior to application of the cast. Solvent-based Epoxy Primers, White, Gray or Red Oxide, are recommended as primers for wood or for metal. Epoprime or Epoxy Primer White may be applied as intermediate primer in between the Sintex Cast and the topcoat for stronger durability and for protection of the cast in case solvent-based top coats are used. It is applicable for both interior and exterior.
Flat. Large, medium or small blobs.
SURFACES TO BE PAINTED, SUBSTRATES
Concrete and other masonry walls and properly primed wood or metal.
Destiny CRB Reducer.
For Small Cast – Reduce with approximately 250 ml. per 4 liter of the product.
For Medium and Large Cast – Use at package viscosity.
Do not tint.
For Textured Finish – Apply with mortar gun, using a choice of the following nozzles;
Fine Cast – Small Nozzle
Medium Cast – Medium Nozzle
Large Cast – Large Nozzle
Use at least one (1) H.P. Compressor to maintain 80 to 100 psi. pressure.
For Micro Cast – Apply carefully with mortar gun controlling the droplets to a fine textured finish.
For Anay Finish – Spray with mortar gun using the desired nozzle size and compressor. Then flatten the texture while it is still in semi-wet stage by rolling over with a plain roller. Prior wet the plain roller with tap water so that product will not stick to the roller. Do not allow the texture to dry before flattening.
