Sintex Putty

CODE NUMBER

DP-705

DESCRIPTION

This is a tough solvent-based heavy-duty Putty for smoothing out plastered and properly primed masonry surfaces, or properly primed wood and metal. It is applied by putty knife to smooth out the masonry, wood or metal walls, prior to application of topcoats, or prior to application of Sintex Cast as textured paint. It is a much tougher putty than most masonry putties, excellent for exterior walls, particularly for high-rise buildings where it is desired to extend recoating cycles. It is the ideal putty for smoothing out concrete floors prior to application of either Epoxy Enamel or Triple X Chlorinated Rubber Floor Coating. It has excellent durability and flexibility, and chemical and water resistance. Epoprime Water-based Epoxy Primer is the recommended primer for concrete. Solvent-based Epoxy Primers, White, Gray or Red Oxide, are recommended for wood or metal. It is applicable for both interior and exterior, including submerged applications such as swimming pools and ponds. It may be topcoated with epoxy, chlorinated rubber-based and most solvent based paints, and with water-based paints.
