DESCRIPTION

This product ushers in new high technology for roof paints that reduce the entry of sun-radiated heat through galvanized or pre-painted metal sheet roofs and masonry tile roofs. It also reduces heat entry through metal sheet, concrete and wooden walls normally hit by the sun during the day. On metal sheets fifty (50) percent of the sun’s heat is reflected. This redounds to many benefits to the owners and occupants of buildings whose roofs are applied with the product. Among these are:

 Cooler interiors. Natural comfort. Afternoon interior temperatures are reduced to comfortable evening levels.

 Savings in electric power consumption and operating costs of air conditioning units.

 Savings in recommended air conditioner HP ratings and initial costs.

 Will minimize unsightly ceiling discolorations caused by heat penetration from above.

 Reduces movements of roof trusses, joists and rafters. Thus protects the supports from damage caused by movements which in turn are caused by temperature changes.

 Elastomeric in base. Sways and vibrates with the movements of the roof sheets. Expands and contracts with temperature changes of the roof sheets as caused by changes in the heat emanating from the sun from morning, noon, afternoon and evening. Thus, longer-lasting than ordinary roof paints. Also can be applied to cascade over ends of roof sheets to help cover the gaps between overlapping sheets, in order to prevent rain water being blown into the gap by strong winds.

 Water-based. No paint thinner necessary. Non-flammable. Safe in storage.

The product comes in various colors. Beautifies, protects from corrosion, waterproofs, prevents entry of heat and saves air conditioning costs. It must be used as a system together with the specified Kooltex Primer.
